I pray blessing, favor, and protection over your family during this harvest and Halloween season, for you are the Lord of the Harvest.

Dear Lord,
I thank you for the changing seasons, for harvest, for holidays, and for times to celebrate! I pray a shield of protection over every family reading this. May the shadow of darkness pass over us just as it did the first Passover in Moses’ time. We plead the blood of Jesus over our bodies, our homes, and our neighborhoods. Thank you for protecting us and blessing us as we go in and as we go out. We are your hands and feet on earth and you go with us wherever we go.
You are Lord of the harvest, so we usher in the harvest!
Help us be diligent workers to reap your bountiful harvest. Help us to share the goodness of God and Jesus. Thank you also for the food harvest, for providing all of our needs. Give us wisdom and discernment regarding the foods we eat. Help us to be wise with the cultural increase of candy and sweets this week and in the months ahead, to make smart decisions to nourish our families.
Thank you, Lord, for joy! Joy in the mourning, strength in your joy, joy complete and lacking nothing. The fruit of joy grows within us. You are a joyful God!
I pray blessing and increase over every family reading this.
Blessing in relationships, finances, and communication, and increase in resources, joy, love, respect, finances, purpose and vision. I pray over jobs right now, Lord. Bless them in the workplace, bless their businesses or future businesses, bless their financial endeavors, bless their spouse’s work. Give wisdom and clarity, cover all needs, including employees, and confirm ideas they’ve been considering. We want to obey you, Lord, and work out your plan for us. Give us desire for the things you desire. Help us bring more of you into the workplace this season.
As we go into the final days of Halloween, I pray over the eyes and ears and mouths and hands and feet of our little ones. As the kids song says,
“Oh be careful little eyes what you see. Oh be careful little eyes what you see. For the Father up above is looking down with love. Oh be careful little eyes what you see.
Oh be careful little ears what you hear… Oh be careful little tongues/mouths what you say…. Oh be careful little hands what you do… Oh be careful little feet where you go.”
“May God bless you and keep you, make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you. The Lord turn His face toward you, and give you peace.” (Numbers 6:24-26)
Have a blessed and sunshiny day š
