Homemade yogurt popsicles are a delicious, healthy snack for the summer, and unlike store bought popsicles, you control the ingredients!

I don’t know what it is about popsicles, but kids love them! Cool, refreshing, and tasty, they keep coming back for more!
Personally, I love when my kids ask for healthy snacks, so I do my best to keep our house stocked with homemade treats for the random times of day they are hungry. In the summer, our favorites are frozen fruits (such as sliced bananas, strawberries, blueberries, pineapple, and cherries), frozen yogurt bark (How to Make Tasty Frozen Yogurt Bark, Peanut Butter Banana Frozen Yogurt Bark), and popsicles.
Popsicles are 100% customizable based on flavor preferences, the ingredients you have on hand, and size of your molds. I’m sharing 2 flavors my kids love, but feel free to modify ingredients or quantities. Check out the frozen yogurt bark posts above for additional ideas.
*Pro tip: yogurt popsicles and frozen yogurt bark can use the same recipe! Popsicles can optionally have more liquids than the bark.
Let’s get mixing!
Ingredients
Yogurt: plain or Greek yogurt works great. For my popsicles, I used a thinner homemade yogurt. If you choose Greek, you may want to add a splash of milk or water to make your popsicles easier to blend and pour.
If you don’t mind the additional ingredients in flavored yogurt, you can even just pour that into molds and freeze as-is!
Peanut Butter Banana Yogurt Popsicle
- Banana: we prefer bananas that have skins starting to brown, as they are sweeter for popsicles
- Yogurt: see yogurt note above
- Honey: raw has the most health benefits. Not recommended for babies under 1.
- Peanut Butter or other nut butter
- Optional: Milk or Water

Fruit Powder Yogurt Popsicles
- Banana: we prefer bananas that have skins starting to brown, as they are sweeter for popsicles
- Yogurt: see yogurt note above
- Fruit Powder: we like Terra Kai Juce from Costco. Freeze dried fruit powder also works, or add frozen berries (modify other ingredients if needed).
- Honey (optional): raw has the most health benefits. Not recommended for babies under 1.
